Universal’s Epic Universe To Be Third Universal Theme Park In Orlando
Universal announced at the Orange County Convention Center today they are developing a third theme park call Universal’s Epic Universe. According to their website, Epic Universe “will feature a theme park, an entertainment center, hotels, shops, restaurants and more.”

Universal has several hundred acres of land to develop near the Orange County Convention center, so the potential is huge. That location also means it will not be connected to their other parks. It will be interesting to see how they handle transportation between the two parks. According to the Orlando Sentinel’s report of the announcement, the park will add 14,000 jobs to the local economy with a base pay of $15 per hour. That will also increase base pay at their other parks, which currently have a base pay of $12 per hour.
Right now Universal is keeping quiet on what we can expect as far as specific attractions or themes of different areas. We will keep you updated as soon as we find out any new information. Are you looking forward to this new park?
