-Now Open Again – The Little Known Spring Roll Cart at Magic Kingdom
One of the great things about living close to Disney and being an annual passholder is getting to take my time in the parks and discover the things I might not notice if I were trying to cram all of the Disney I could into a vacation. Passing along what I discover is one of the great purposes of this blog so you can know about it before you get here. One of those little gems that seems to be well known among passholders but not so much by vacationers is the little spring roll cart in Magic Kingdom. It is located in Adventureland, just to the right of Jungle Cruise. The last time I ate there I arrived a little before it opened at 11 AM and was the first of several passholders in line.

These are not typical spring rolls like you would find in an Asian Restaurant. Flavors I have seen available so far are cheeseburger, Philly cheese steak, Buffalo chicken, and Reuben. They usually have two varieties available each day.

The Cheeseburger Spring RollThe Philly Cheese Steak has been my favorite so far. It tastes like a mini Philly Cheese Steak and is probably the most substantial of the available varieties.
The Cheeseburger is a favorite of my wife. If you like pickles on your cheeseburgers, you will probably like this one. Here’s the thing about this one. There are a lot of ways to dress a cheeseburger. I am not one to usually put a lot of pickles on mine and the pickle flavor really comes through in this Spring Roll, though it doesn’t overpower it. My wife, on the other hand, likes a lot of pickles on her burgers. She thought it was really good.
It has been a while since I tried the Buffalo chicken, but I remember it being good as well. Unfortunately, I have not been able to catch the Reuben flavor when I have been at Magic Kingdom. Hopefully, it isn’t gone for good.
