Reopening of Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country

Dollywood has released the dates for the reopening of the Smokies friendlies theme parks. Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country will open this season on June 17th with Season Passholder Exclusive days on June 15th and 16th. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa will officially reopen on June 10th.

Dollywood has some important information on what you need to know before you go.

  • Daily capacity will be limited – Season Passholders will have a reservation requirement to enter the park. Date-based tickets will be available for general admission.
  • Face masks or face coverings are required for everyone 3 years and older. These masks do not have to be worn while eating, riding water riders, or some roller coasters. For a full list visit Dollywood’s FAQ page.
  • Temperature screening will be conducted prior to entry.
  • Attraction and dining capacities will be limited to allow guests to have more space during their visits.
  • Physical distancing measures are being put into place such as marked barriers, social distance queues, and social distancing reminders.
  • There are also new cleaning measures being put in place. High traffic areas will be cleaned more often as well as hand sanitizing stations spread throughout the park.
